JOB DESCRIPTION – COMPANY DRIVER

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Company Driver who can operate different types of company vehicles, including bus, Tata Intra, and other light/heavy commercial vehicles, as required.
The driver will be responsible for employee pickup and drop, transportation of materials, documents, and other official company requirements while ensuring safety, punctuality, and proper vehicle maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and operate different company vehicles such as bus, Intra, and other assigned vehicles.
- Handle employee pickup and drop-off according to the assigned routes and schedules.
- Transport company materials, products, documents, and other items safely.
- Follow all traffic rules and road safety regulations.
- Maintain safe and responsible driving practices at all times.
- Check the vehicle regularly for fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, engine oil, and other basic requirements.
- Keep company vehicles clean and properly maintained.
- Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, damages, or maintenance requirements immediately.
- Maintain daily records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle-related expenses when required.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
- Ensure the safe handling and delivery of company materials.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Valid driving licence applicable to the vehicles operated by the company.
- Practical experience in driving buses and commercial vehicles is mandatory.
- Ability to operate different types of vehicles safely.
- Good knowledge of traffic rules and road safety.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
- Punctual, responsible, trustworthy, and disciplined.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on company requirements.
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant driving experience preferred.
Performance Expectations
- Safe transportation of employees and company materials.
- Timely completion of pickup, drop, and transportation duties.
- Proper handling and maintenance of all assigned vehicles.
- Minimum avoidable vehicle damage and traffic violations.
- Accurate trip and fuel records.
- Good attendance, punctuality, and workplace discipline.
Salary
Salary: Based on experience, licence category, and driving skills.
Important Requirement
Candidates must have experience driving multiple types of vehicles, especially buses and commercial vehicles such as Tata Intra.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
