Role Description This full-time on-site role, based in the Pune Division, is for a Business Development Executive. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and creating strategic plans to achieve corporate growth objectives. Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development executive to lead our efforts in expanding the adoption of our School Management ERP solution across educational institutions. The Business Development executive will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong client relationships, specializing in cold calling and digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Outreach
- Research and identify potential schools for ERP adoption.
- Conduct cold calls and digital outreach to introduce the ERP solution.
- Schedule appointments and product demonstrations with school decision-makers.
OnField Engagement
- Visit schools to conduct demos, distribute brochures, and explain product features.
- Represent the company at school events, exhibitions, and seminars.
- Execute digital campaigns (social media, email, SEO, PPC) to build brand visibility.
- Create and manage marketing content tailored to school audiences.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure smooth lead conversion.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, visits, and campaign results in CRM.
- Share market intelligence (competitor activities, school needs, objections) with the team.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong communication and persuasion skills (phone, digital, and facetoface).
- Ability to balance digital marketing tasks with onfield sales activities.
- Selfmotivated, targetoriented, and comfortable with frequent school visits.
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools and digital marketing platforms.

Qualifications
- Proven expertise in business development, sales strategies, and client relationship management

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Experience in technology or relevant industries is a plus
- Experience in any Edtech sales is a plus
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
