Assist in assessment, planning, and implementation of developmental interventions for children under supervision. You will gain hands‑on experience and mentorship from experienced therapists, contribute to real cases, and support families in developmental activities.
- Assist in conducting developmental assessments (motor, cognition, language, social, adaptive)
- Help develop individual intervention plans under supervision
- Support delivery of therapy sessions / intervention activities
- Observe and document child progress, maintain records
- Participate in family / caregiver coaching, education
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team (speech, occupational, physical therapy, education)
- Assist in training materials, resources, preparing therapy aids
Qualifications & Skills
- Student / recent graduate in Child Development, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Rehabilitation Sciences, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of child development and developmental delays
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathetic, patient, reliable, eager to learn
- Ability to work under guidance and take feedback
- (Preferred) Some prior exposure / volunteer work with children or developmental / special needs settings
- (Preferred) Skills in documentation, use of Microsoft Office / record keeping
