Job Description:
MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Solapur is seeking a qualified and passionate TGT Biology Teacher to teach middle and secondary grade students. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, effective teaching skills, and the ability to inspire students towards scientific learning and inquiry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver Biology lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and school guidelines.
- Develop engaging lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and practical activities.
- Foster scientific thinking and encourage students to participate actively in classroom discussions and laboratory sessions.
- Monitor and evaluate students' academic progress and maintain relevant records.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students based on their individual learning needs.
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of laboratory equipment and resources.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, examinations, and professional development programmes.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies to enhance learning outcomes.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment in the classroom.
- Uphold the values, policies, and standards of the institution.
Qualification:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Biology, Zoology, Botany, Life Sciences, or a related field from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- CTET/TET qualification will be preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience as a Biology Teacher in a reputed CBSE school.
- Candidates with experience teaching middle and secondary grades will be preferred.
- Freshers with excellent academic records and relevant qualifications may also apply.
Skills Required:
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to conduct practical sessions effectively.
- Proficiency in using modern teaching methodologies and educational technology.
