Store Assistant – Gold Coins & Club Resort

Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Store Assistant to support the day-to-day functioning of the store dealing in Gold Coins and Club Resort Memberships. The role involves assisting the Store Manager with market/vendor coordination, supporting smooth billing operations in coordination with the Accounts team, and ensuring excellent customer service at the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist walk-in customers with product inquiries related to Gold Coins and Club Resort Memberships, and support the sales team wherever needed.
- Accompany and support the Store Manager during market visits for buying, vendor coordination, and procurement-related activities.
- Coordinate closely with the Accounts team to ensure accurate and timely billing, invoicing, and payment processing.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day billing operations, including verifying bills, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, sales transactions, and customer details.
- Support the Store Manager in inventory checks, stock replenishment, and store organization.
- Handle basic customer queries and escalate complex issues to the Store Manager or relevant team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly store environment.
- Assist in preparing daily/weekly sales and billing reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with store policies, pricing guidelines, and company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role (retail, store operations, billing, or sales support). Experience in jewellery, gold, hospitality, or membership sales is an added advantage.
- Basic educational qualification: 12th pass / Graduate (preferred).
Required Skills
- Kannada: Must be fluent (mandatory).
- Telugu: Speaking ability is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of billing/invoicing processes and coordination with accounts teams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to support customer interactions and market coordination.
- Willingness to travel locally with the Store Manager for market/buying-related activities.
- Basic computer knowledge (billing software, MS Office, or CRM tools).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and support multiple functions (sales, accounts, and procurement).
