Role Overview
We are looking for a caring, energetic and qualified Primary Teacher to teach Grade 1 students. The teacher will be responsible for creating a positive classroom environment, building strong foundational learning skills, and supporting the overall development of young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Grade 1 students using engaging and age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Plan daily lessons, worksheets, activities and assessments.
- Develop students’ basic reading, writing, speaking and numeracy skills.
- Maintain a safe, friendly, disciplined and inclusive classroom environment.
- Track student progress and provide individual support where needed.
- Conduct regular tests, evaluate assignments and maintain academic records.
- Communicate with parents regarding student performance, behaviour and development.
- Participate in school events, meetings, training sessions and co-curricular activities.
- Follow the school’s curriculum, policies and teaching standards.
Required Skills
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Good classroom-management and student-handling skills.
- Patience, creativity and a child-friendly approach.
- Ability to make learning interactive through activities, stories, games and visual aids.
- Basic computer knowledge for preparing worksheets, presentations and reports.
Eligibility
- Graduation or Post-Graduation in a relevant discipline.
- D.Ed/B.Ed is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in primary classes.
- Candidates residing near Pimpri/Pune will be preferred.
Selection Process
Eligible candidates can attend a walk-in written test from Monday to Saturday, 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
