Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Rebar Modeler with hands-on experience in Revit and structural detailing to join our engineering and BIM team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate, detailed, and constructible 3D models of rebar layouts for reinforced concrete structures in compliance with project standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 3D rebar models using Autodesk Revit (and/or other BIM tools).
- Generate rebar shop drawings, schedules, bar bending lists (BBL), and quantity take-offs.
- Interpret and model from structural and architectural drawings.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, drafters, and BIM coordinators to ensure accuracy and clash-free designs.
- Apply company and project-specific BIM standards, codes, and detailing practices.
- Review design drawings and identify potential issues or conflicts early in the modeling process.
- Participate in model reviews, coordination meetings, and implement feedback as needed.
- Maintain organized project documentation and ensure version control for all models and drawings.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Rebar Modeling using Revit Structure.
- Strong understanding of reinforcement detailing standards (ACI, BS, IS, or Eurocode).
- Experience in shop drawing production and bar bending schedules.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
