Edify World School, Whitefield, Bangalore is hiring an experienced Social Science Coordinator to lead and teach Social Science for the middle and secondary grades.
Experience: 3–8 Years
Location: Whitefield, Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Social Science subjects including History, Geography, Civics, Economics, and Political Science.
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons.
- Coordinate the Social Science department and support academic planning.
- Guide teachers in lesson planning, assessments, and classroom practices.
- Monitor student performance and implement improvement strategies.
- Ensure effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum.
- Organize subject-related activities, projects, and exhibitions.
- Collaborate with school leadership, teachers, and parents to achieve academic goals.
Requirements:
- 3–8 years of teaching experience in reputed CBSE schools.
- Prior experience as a Subject Coordinator or Academic Coordinator is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE Social Science curriculum.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to mentor teachers and coordinate departmental activities.
Qualification:
- BA/MA in History, Geography, Political Science, or a related Social Science discipline.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
