Overview
GD Goenka Group is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented professional for the role of Visual Communication Executive. The role is responsible for strengthening the visual identity and communication presence of the Group across its educational institutions and allied verticals.The incumbent will play a key role in conceptualising and executing impactful visual communication strategies that enhance brand visibility, audience engagement and institutional outreach.
The position requires a strong understanding of design aesthetics, digital communication, brand consistency and creative storytelling tailored to the education sector. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to transform ideas into visually compelling communication material across digital, print and multimedia platforms while maintaining alignment with the organizations brand standards and communication objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality visual communication material for digital platforms, websites, social media, institutional campaigns, presentations, brochures, newsletters, reports and marketing collaterals.
- Create engaging graphics, infographics, banners, promotional creatives, motion graphics and branding assets that effectively communicate institutional messaging and campaigns.
- Support the Group’s branding and communication initiatives by delivering creative concepts and visually impactful designs for academic, corporate and promotional activities.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, admissions, digital media, content and institutional teams to understand communication requirements and deliver creative solutions within timelines.
- Ensure consistency in visual identity, branding guidelines, typography, layouts and colour schemes across all communication channels and institutional materials.
- Assist in conceptualising and executing creative campaigns for admissions, events, conferences, student activities, workshops and institutional outreach initiatives.
- Contribute towards enhancing the digital presence of the organization through visually engaging content tailored for social media and online engagement platforms.
- Coordinate with external vendors, printers and production agencies, whenever required, for execution of print and branding material.
- Edit and enhance images, presentations and multimedia content to maintain professional communication standards.
- Stay updated with evolving design trends, creative tools, digital communication practices and visual storytelling approaches relevant to the education industry.
- Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, accuracy and timely delivery.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects or related design tools.
- Strong understanding of visual communication principles, branding, typography, layout design and colour theory.
- Ability to create compelling visual narratives and communication material for both digital and print platforms.
- Knowledge of social media creatives, digital marketing design requirements and multimedia communication.
- Good creative thinking, conceptualisation and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain visual consistency and quality standards.
- Good interpersonal, coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative and deadline-driven environment.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia, Animation or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications in graphic design, multimedia or digital communication will be an added advantage.
Preferred Background
- Prior experience in the education sector, university/school branding, institutional communication, media, advertising or creative agencies will be preferred.
- Experience in handling communication material for educational institutions, admissions campaigns or academic events would be an added advantage.
