Job Description – Safety Officer (LPG/Petroleum Industry)
We are looking for a qualified and experienced safety officer to oversee fire & industrial safety operations and ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict adherence to PESO, SMPV, OISD, and Factories Act regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive safety measures.
- Manage and monitor the work permit system for plant operations.
- Organize safety training programs and awareness sessions for employees.
- Plan and conduct emergency mock drills and evacuation procedures.
- Supervise the maintenance and inspection of LPG & petroleum storage tanks, pumps, pipelines, and firefighting systems.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance related to industrial safety standards.
- Coordinate with internal departments and regulatory authorities for safety audits and inspections.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Degree or Diploma in Industrial Safety.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in LPG plants or petroleum industries.
- Good knowledge of industrial safety practices, firefighting systems, and statutory compliance.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
