Job Summary
The Finance MAnager is responsible for managing the organization's day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting budgeting and financial reporting activities. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting principles.
Financial Management
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements.
- Ensure efficient utilization of financial resources.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Present financial reports and performance analysis to senior management.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Analyze financial performance and recommend corrective actions.
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process.
- Prepare financial forecasts and variance analysis.
- Monitor departmental budgets and control expenditures.
- Support strategic business planning with financial projections.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable regulations.
- Review and approve statutory filings and tax returns.
- Coordinate with tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure timely payment of statutory dues.
Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Develop and strengthen internal financial controls.
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Treasury & Banking
- Manage banking relationships and financing arrangements.
- Monitor investments, loans, and credit facilities.
- Optimize cash management and fund utilization.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Promote continuous learning and process improvement.
Business Support
- Provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate capital investments and business opportunities.
- Support pricing, profitability, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Prepare financial models and business cases for new projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com or equivalent).
- Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, or MBA (Finance) is preferred.
Experience
- 7–12 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
- At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience in manufacturing, services, retail, or corporate finance is desirable.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting standards.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Thorough understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally ERP, or Zoho Books.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Knowledge of internal controls, audit processes, and risk management.

Working Conditions
- Full-time position.
- Standard office hours with flexibility during month-end, year-end closing, budgeting, and audit periods.
- Occasional travel for audits, banking, or business meetings, if required.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
