Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Billing Staff member to manage billing operations, prepare accurate invoices, maintain billing records, and ensure timely collections. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and experience with billing and accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Verify billing data, pricing, discounts, and tax calculations.
- Process sales invoices, credit notes, debit notes, and receipts.
- Maintain billing records and customer account information.
- Coordinate with the sales, accounts, and warehouse teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and assist with collections.
- Reconcile customer accounts and billing transactions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports.
- Ensure compliance with GST and company billing policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.
- Assist with audits and other accounting-related tasks as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts.
- Proficiency in TallyPrime, Zoho Books, Microsoft Excel, or other billing/accounting software.
- Good understanding of GST billing and invoicing procedures.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of inventory and ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
