Job Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales of Thermo Fisher Scientific's spectroscopy and analytical instrument portfolio, including UV-Vis Spectrophotometers, OES, XRF, and other elemental and molecular spectroscopy solutions. The role focuses on business development, account management, technical solution selling, and achieving revenue targets across assigned territories. The position requires strong scientific knowledge and consultative selling skills to support customers in pharmaceutical, chemical, food, environmental, industrial, academic, and research markets.
Key Responsibilities
· Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for spectroscopy and analytical instrument products.
· Develop and execute territory sales plans to maximize revenue growth.
· Identify and develop new business opportunities across pharmaceutical, chemical, food, environmental, academic, government, and industrial sectors.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with laboratory managers, QA/QC heads, scientists, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.
· Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, seminars, and customer workshops.
· Understand customer analytical challenges and recommend appropriate instrumentation and workflow solutions.
· Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, tenders, and negotiate commercial agreements.
· Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure and post-sales customer support.
· Collaborate with Application Specialists, Service Engineers, Product Managers, and Marketing teams for successful project execution.
· Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and CRM updates.
· Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
