Job Description
The selected candidate will contribute to advanced research projects in:
Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) of advanced alloys and composites.
Development and characterization of High Entropy Alloys and Shape Memory Alloys.
Processing and characterization of advanced metallic materials and composites.
Tribological, mechanical, and corrosion performance evaluation of engineering materials.
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for process optimization and quality prediction.
Sustainable manufacturing and smart manufacturing systems.
Design and development of advanced materials for aerospace, biomedical, automotive, and energy applications.
The position offers opportunities to work on interdisciplinary research projects, establish academic and industrial collaborations, and contribute to high-impact publications and funded research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct high-quality independent and collaborative research.
Design and execute experimental investigations in advanced manufacturing and materials engineering.
Publish research outcomes in reputed international journals and conferences.
Assist in the preparation of research proposals for national and international funding agencies.
Participate in collaborative projects with academic and industrial partners.
Desirable Skills
Hands-on experience with additive manufacturing systems (PBF, DED, FDM, etc.).
Expertise in advanced material processing and characterization techniques.
Experience with SEM, EDS, XRD, EBSD, XPS, DSC, Microhardness Testing, Tribological Testing, and Mechanical Testing.
Strong scientific writing, communication, and presentation skills.
