Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for VMC machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, 2D/3D models, and GD&T requirements.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining strategies.
- Prepare setup sheets and provide technical support to machine operators.
- Conduct prove-out of new programs and troubleshoot machining issues.
- Optimize cycle times while maintaining product quality.
- Perform first-off inspection and ensure components meet customer specifications.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams.
- Train and mentor CNC operators and junior programmers.
- Maintain CNC program backups and revision records.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce machining costs.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC programming.
- Experience with CAM software (Mastercam, SolidCAM, NX CAM, Fusion 360, or similar).
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Knowledge of tooling, work holding, cutting parameters, and machining processes.
- Experience in program optimization and cycle time reduction.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership and team coordination abilities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Tool & Die, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in CNC/VMC programming and machining.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with multi-axis machining.
- Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Haas CNC controls.
- Experience with fixture design and process planning.
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems and Lean Manufacturing principles.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
