Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and result-oriented Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily production activities to ensure timely delivery, optimum resource utilization, and adherence to quality and safety standards by using ERP and excel.
Freshers and experienced candidates (0–5 years) are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Prepare production schedules and allocate manpower effectively.
- Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Quality, and Stores departments to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor fabrication processes including cutting, drilling, welding, fit-up, machining, and assembly.
- Ensure production is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and update the same with Production manager.
- Track production progress and prepare daily production reports.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize material utilization and minimize production losses.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
- Coordinate dispatch activities to meet customer delivery schedules.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 5+years of experience in structural steel fabrication, sheet metal fabrication, or heavy engineering are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to read and understand fabrication and engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of welding, fabrication processes, and manufacturing methods.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of production planning and scheduling.
- Understanding of fabrication drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
