Sales Engineer – Biomedical Equipment

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to promote, sell, and support biomedical and healthcare equipment to hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, laboratories, and healthcare institutions. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge of medical equipment with strong sales and relationship-building abilities to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Promote biomedical and medical equipment solutions to healthcare providers.
- Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and demonstrations.
- Generate inquiries, prepare quotations, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Participate in tenders, government procurement opportunities, and institutional sales processes.
Technical Support
- Understand customer clinical and technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Coordinate product demonstrations and technical evaluations.
- Provide basic technical guidance to customers before and after sales.
- Work closely with service engineers to ensure smooth installation and commissioning.
- Maintain updated knowledge of biomedical equipment technologies and industry trends.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, biomedical engineers, purchase departments, and hospital administrators.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely follow-up and support.
- Address customer concerns and coordinate resolution with internal teams.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Provide regular market feedback to management.
- Identify opportunities for new products and market expansion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Medical Electronics
- Instrumentation Engineering
- Related technical discipline
Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in biomedical equipment sales, medical device sales, or healthcare technology sales.
- Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and interest in medical equipment sales may also be considered.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
