About the Role
ImmiWorks India is the in-house delivery centre for an established UK group with over a decade of trading history and a strong reputation for client service. We're a young operation but not a start-up gamble: you get the stability, standards, and backing of a mature firm together with the energy and ownership of building a capability from the ground up.
We're standing up an in-house video content function and need an AI Video Producer & Editor to own production end to end. You'll turn UK-set scripts and briefs into polished short-form video for social and marketing, combining modern AI video tools, AI-avatar presenters and AI-generated b-roll, with traditional editing craft. You'll sit within our growing marketing team at our Technopark office in Trivandrum, working in real-time alignment with UK working hours. The UK team provides the briefs and signs off the final content; you make it happen, fast and to a high standard.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Editing and assembling short-form video, primarily vertical and mobile-first: pacing, cuts, music, transitions, and captions or subtitles for sound-off viewing.
- Producing talking-head content with AI-avatar platforms such as HeyGen, and AI-generated b-roll with cinematic tools such as Higgsfield AI, then polishing it to a professional, on-brand finish.
- Repurposing a single master video into multiple platform-specific cuts (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).
- Applying a consistent brand kit: lower-thirds, caption styles, graphics and music.
- Basic audio cleanup and levelling, and light colour correction.
- Adding motion graphics and text animation to lift the finish.
- Managing your output through a clear production workflow and hitting a steady monthly volume.
- Working to briefs from the UK team; all content passes firm review before publication.
Required Experience
- 1-3 years of hands-on short-form video editing in CapCut and/or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- A real portfolio or showreel of short-form work. We screen on the work, not the CV.
- Hands-on experience with AI video tools such as HeyGen and Higgsfield AI, or clear evidence that you pick up new AI tools fast. Genuine curiosity about AI video is essential to this role.
- Confident with captioning or subtitling and mobile-first formatting.
- Strong attention to detail, and the discipline to follow a brand kit and a defined process.
- Good written and spoken English.
Desirable
- Adobe After Effects for more advanced motion graphics.
- Breadth across other AI video or avatar tools (e.g. Synthesia, Runway, Veo, Kling).
- Light graphic design for thumbnails, covers and carousels.
- A feel for what performs well on social.
How We Work
You will be office-based at Technopark, Trivandrum, on full UK business hours, giving you complete real-time overlap with the UK team for briefings, feedback and sign-off. You own your production pipeline, and quality and consistency are built into how the role works. We are building a modern, AI-assisted content engine from scratch, and you will help shape how it runs.
