Job Summary
The Assistant Manager – Partnerships and Alliance will support CSA’s efforts to strengthen and grow its donor base across corporates, foundations, high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), institutions, and individual supporters. The role involves assisting in cultivating long-term relationships, coordinating donor engagement, preparing communication materials, ensuring compliance, and supporting impactful reporting. This position requires strong communication, organizational, and design skills to enable CSA to meet its mission and scale its impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Donor & Partner Prospecting
● Research and identify potential donors aligned with CSA’s mission. ● Generate leads for senior members to follow up on.● Maintain a donor database with key contacts, engagement history, and giving capacity.● Track giving trends, CSR priorities, and philanthropic developments relevant to CSA’s work.
Relationship Management
● Support ongoing engagement with existing donors to ensure sustained support.● Act as liaison for assigned donors, ensuring timely communication and trust building.● Assist in organizing donor/partner meetings, presentations, and field visits.
Fundraising & Partnership Development
● Assist in developing proposals, presentations, and tailored partnership pitches.● Support review of agreements and documentation for contributions and commitments.● Work towards supporting annual fundraising targets across donor categories.
Donor Engagement & Events
● Assist in planning donor engagement activities including employee engagement, campaigns, and recognition events.● Coordinate with corporates on CSR initiatives, individuals on giving campaigns, and foundationson program support.● Ensure donor experiences are meaningful and aligned with CSA’s values.
Reporting, Compliance & Administration
● Coordinate with program teams to gather timely updates, reports, and impact data.● Support preparation of donor-related compliance and utilization reports.● Maintain updated records of donations, utilization, and engagement touchpoints.
Digital Presence & Communication
● Maintain and update CSA’s website backend with accurate and engaging content.● Support CSA’s social media presence by coordinating posts, updates, and donor-relatedcampaigns.● Design communication materials (donor decks, infographics, social media creatives, reports) using Canva/MS Office tools.
Internal Collaboration
● Work closely with the Senior Manager and program teams for aligned proposals, reporting, and donor servicing.● Contribute to execution of CSA’s annual fundraising and donor engagement strategy.
Qualifications & Experience ● bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred).● 1-2 years of experience in donor management, fundraising, corporate partnerships, CSR, institutional relations, or business development (NGO experience preferred).● Proven track record of supporting diverse donor relationships and fundraising goals.● Strong understanding of CSR regulations, donor compliance requirements, and philanthropic trends in India.● Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, and regional language(optional).● Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, CRM/fundraising software (e.g., Zoho), and creative tools(e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).● Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to multitask.● Willingness to travel to CSA project locations and availability on some weekends.
Desirable Skills
● Existing network of contacts across donor segments (corporates, foundations, HNIs).● Experience supporting donor/employee engagement programs.● Ability to translate program impact into visually compelling communication materials.● Experience in managing website content and social media campaigns.
