We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead our team of talented PHP developers and drive the development and maintenance of our company's web applications. As the Senior PHP Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire PHP development process from conception to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of PHP developers, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure a high level of productivity and quality in their work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design, develop, and implement custom web applications that meet business needs.
- Mentor and train team members to enhance their technical skills and promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Develop and implement coding standards, best practices, and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency in the development process.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality and scalable code.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in PHP development and implement them in the team's projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring a smooth and timely delivery of projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to provide regular project updates, identify risks, and define mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and other related technologies.
- Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
- Proficiency in front-end development technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
