About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PHP Intern to join our technology team for a 6-month internship. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who are eager to strengthen their backend development skills and gain hands-on experience working on real-time web applications. The intern will collaborate closely with senior developers and contribute to live projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining PHP-based web applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code
- Support backend development and database integration
- Work with frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter (if applicable)
- Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing application performance
- Participate in code reviews and project discussions
- Collaborate with front-end developers for seamless integration
- Support deployment and maintenance tasks when required
Skills & Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Strong understanding of PHP fundamentals
- Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Understanding of MVC architecture is a plus
- Familiarity with frameworks like Laravel is an advantage
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
