Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled IT Engineer to execute IT infrastructure and network implementation projects at customer locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise IT infrastructure, including networking equipment, firewalls, VPN connectivity, servers, and end-user devices. The role requires extensive travel, customer interaction, and the ability to independently execute projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Deployment
- Execute end-to-end IT infrastructure implementation projects at customer locations.
- Install, configure, and commission desktops, laptops, servers, storage devices, printers, scanners, and peripheral equipment.
- Deploy and configure Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office 365 applications.
- Install and configure Active Directory, domain environments, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
- Perform data migration, system upgrades, and infrastructure relocation activities.
Network Implementation
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise LAN, WAN, and Wireless networks.
- Configure and manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers from major vendors.
- Design, configure, and manage VLANs, trunk ports, inter-VLAN routing, and network segmentation.
- Configure Static Routing and basic Dynamic Routing protocols where applicable.
- Configure and troubleshoot TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, NAT, subnetting, and IP addressing.
- Install and commission enterprise-grade Wi-Fi access points and wireless controllers.
- Perform structured cabling verification, patch panel termination, rack installation, and cable management.
- Conduct network performance testing and troubleshooting.
Firewall & Security
- Install and configure enterprise firewall appliances.
- Configure firewall security policies, access rules, NAT, and port forwarding.
- Configure Site-to-Site VPN and Remote Access VPN connectivity.
- Troubleshoot VPN connectivity and network security issues.
- Configure basic Intrusion Prevention (IPS), web filtering, and security profiles.
- Perform firmware upgrades and backup/restore firewall configurations.
- Maintain network security standards and implement security best practices.
Server & System Administration
- Install and configure Windows Server environments.
- Configure Active Directory Domain Services.
- Manage DNS, DHCP, File Server, Print Server, and shared resources.
- Configure user accounts, permissions, and security policies.
- Perform server health checks and preventive maintenance.
Customer Support & Project Execution
- Coordinate with Project Managers, OEMs, vendors, and customers during project execution.
- Provide on-site technical support during installation and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and health checks after project completion.
- Prepare installation reports, network diagrams, project documentation, and asset records.
- Ensure project completion within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Train customers on newly deployed IT infrastructure when required.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain detailed documentation of network topology, IP addressing, firewall configurations, and implemented solutions.
- Update project reports, service reports, and asset documentation.
- Follow company SOPs, security guidelines, and customer compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Networking, and Project Implementation.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise networking and infrastructure deployment.
- Experience configuring Firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs.
- Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, WLAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, Routing, and Switching.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Windows Server, and Office 365.
- Hands-on experience with structured cabling and rack installations.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues.
- Willingness to travel extensively for project execution.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
