Role Summary
The Online Community Manager builds and runs Zorilla's creator communities: an active, moderated, well-programmed space where affiliates feel recognized and engaged. This role keeps the community healthy day to day, drives weekly programming, and turns the server into a retention and activation engine for creators.
Key Responsibilities
Daily
- Moderate all channels: review messages for rule compliance, remove spam or harmful content, issue warnings, and ban repeat offenders with documentation.
- Drive member engagement: answer questions, welcome new members, highlight active contributors, and spark conversation.
- Track tickets and queries in a task sheet with daily team updates.
Weekly
- Program content: weekly announcements plus value content (tips, tutorials, Q and A, success showcases).
- Host a minimum of one weekly community event (live chat, AMA, challenge, or showcase thread).
Culture and Documentation
- Run recognition: weekly creator spotlights and fun roles or badges for positive behavior.
- Collect monthly feedback via polls and ship improvements based on the input.
- Maintain message templates, the weekly content calendar, tickets log, member ID log, and sample request form log.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year managing a Discord server or online community.
- Strong written English and a natural, engaging community voice.
- Comfortable working with a US-based creator audience and time zone.
- Organized, consistent, and proactive about programming.
