About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, organised and result-oriented Placement & Project Coordinator to manage placement activities, employer coordination, candidate engagement and day-to-day project operations.
The person will act as a key coordination point between companies, candidates, training teams, educational institutions and internal management, ensuring that placement drives and assigned projects are executed smoothly and within timelines.
Key Responsibilities1. Placement & Employer Coordination
- Identify and coordinate with companies for recruitment, internship and placement opportunities.
- Communicate with HR teams and hiring managers regarding job requirements, eligibility criteria, salaries and recruitment processes.
- Coordinate job descriptions, candidate requirements and interview schedules.
- Share suitable candidate profiles with participating companies.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new employer partners.
- Coordinate campus/off-campus recruitment drives, interviews and selection processes.
- Follow up with companies regarding interview results, selections, offer letters and joining status.
2. Candidate & Student Coordination
- Coordinate with candidates regarding job openings, interviews, assessments and joining formalities.
- Maintain candidate databases and placement trackers.
- Conduct candidate briefings and pre-placement sessions whenever required.
- Ensure candidates are properly informed about company requirements, interview schedules and documentation.
- Track candidate selection, offer and joining status.
- Address routine candidate queries and escalate issues where required.
3. Project Coordination
- Coordinate assigned projects from initiation to completion.
- Prepare project plans, timelines, task trackers and MIS reports.
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables and pending activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and maintain action-point trackers.
- Identify delays, risks or operational issues and escalate them to management.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly project status reports.
4. Institutional / College Coordination
- Coordinate with colleges, universities, training institutes and other institutional partners.
- Understand institutional requirements and coordinate placement/recruitment activities accordingly.
- Plan and execute recruitment drives, career sessions, workshops and related activities.
- Coordinate logistics, candidate participation, company schedules and event requirements.
- Maintain professional relationships with placement officers, faculty members and institutional management.
5. MIS & Documentation
- Maintain accurate placement and project databases.
- Prepare Excel trackers, MIS reports, dashboards and management updates.
- Maintain records of companies, candidates, interviews, selections, offers and joining status.
- Prepare meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
- Ensure all project and placement documentation is updated and properly maintained.
6. Internal Coordination
- Work closely with Business Development, Recruitment, Training, Operations and Management teams.
- Ensure timely flow of information between internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate multiple activities simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met.
- Support management in preparing presentations, reports and business updates.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Good email drafting and professional communication skills.
- Ability to communicate confidently with HR professionals, colleges and senior stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be a strong communicator and excellent coordinator who can confidently interact with companies, HR teams, colleges, candidates and internal teams. The role requires someone who can take ownership, follow up consistently and ensure that things actually get completed on time.
Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
