Job Summary
PSR Thangamaligai Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Jewellery Sales Manager to lead our showroom sales operations. The ideal candidate should have 7–10 years of proven experience in the jewellery retail industry, with strong leadership skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to drive sales performance while maintaining the highest standards of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage the showroom sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop sales strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor daily showroom operations and ensure smooth business functioning.
- Coach, train, and mentor sales executives to improve product knowledge, selling skills, and customer service.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the purchase journey.
- Monitor KPIs such as conversion ratio, average bill value, footfall conversion, and sales productivity.
- Coordinate with inventory, purchase, and merchandising teams to maintain optimum stock levels.
- Handle customer complaints and provide effective resolutions.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, billing procedures, and security standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management review.
- Support marketing campaigns, exhibitions, festive promotions, and showroom events.
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards within the showroom.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of experience in jewellery retail, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Thorough knowledge of gold, diamond, platinum, silver jewellery, hallmarking, and jewellery retail practices.
- Experience in sales planning, customer relationship management, and target achievement.
- Proficiency in jewellery retail software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to analyze sales reports and make data-driven decisions.
- Fluent in Tamil and English. Knowledge of additional regional languages is an advantage.
