Worksbot Private Limited is seeking a motivated and talented VLSI Engineer with 0 to 3 years of experience to join our growing hardware engineering team. In this role, you will assist in the design, verification, and implementation of integrated circuits (ICs) and semiconductor solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level or junior engineer to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology and work alongside industry experts.
Key Responsibilities
- RTL Design & Coding: Assist in developing and maintaining clean, synthesis-friendly RTL code using Verilog or SystemVerilog.
- Functional Verification: Write basic test benches, run simulations, and analyze waveforms to identify and debug functional issues in the design.
- Synthesis & Timing Support: Help run logic synthesis and Static Timing Analysis (STA) scripts to meet power, performance, and area (PPA) goals.
- Documentation: Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for design specifications, verification plans, and simulation results.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and physical design teams to ensure smooth design closure and debug technical bottlenecks.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience in VLSI/ASIC/FPGA design or verification (strong academic projects or internships are highly valued).
- Hardware Description Languages: Foundational knowledge of SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL.
- EDA Tools: Exposure to standard industry EDA tools (such as Synopsys, Cadence, or Siemens/Mentor Graphics) during coursework or prior work.
- Scripting: Basic knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Tcl, or Perl for automating workflows is a plus.
- Attributes: Strong analytical mindset, a quick learner, and excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
- Familiarity with standard protocols (e.g., AMBA, AXI, I2C, SPI, or PCIe).
- Basic understanding of CMOS technology and digital electronics fundamentals.
- Experience with UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) is a significant advantage.
