Role Description:
The Social Media Marketing Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The intern will assist teams in planning, creating, and publishing social media content across platforms. Daily tasks will include ideating for social media and digital campaigns, supporting social media calendars, coordinating with designers for creatives, monitoring engagement, and compiling performance metrics and reports. The role also involves researching trends, audience behavior, and competitor activities to suggest content ideas and optimizations. The role of the intern requires daily collaboration with multiple teams. The intern may also be required to interact directly with clients.
Requirements:
- Ability to apply Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation skills to plan and execute platform-specific campaigns and posts.
- Understanding of Digital Marketing and Marketing principles to support online brand visibility and engagement initiatives.
- Strong Communication skills (especially in English), including clear written and verbal communication for captions, client interactions, and internal collaboration.
- Familiarity with major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) and basic analytics or insights tools.
- Creative thinking, attention to detail, and an interest in visual design and brand storytelling.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Coursework or prior internship experience in marketing, communications, design, or related fields is an advantage.
- Proficiency with basic design or content tools (e.g., Canva, basic photo/video editing) is beneficial but not mandatory.
A monthly stipend will be paid to the selected intern.
