Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Executive – Mechanical to join our manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting CNC, VMC and other production machines to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing/engineering/automobile industry, preferably with CNC and VMC machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC and other production machinery.
- Attend machine breakdowns and identify the root cause of mechanical failures.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of machine mechanical systems.
- Handle maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Check and maintain bearings, belts, chains, couplings, gearboxes, pumps and other mechanical components.
- Perform machine lubrication and ensure proper lubrication schedules are followed.
- Identify and rectify oil/coolant leakage and other machine-related issues.
- Support machine installation, shifting, alignment and commissioning activities.
- Monitor machine condition and identify potential failures before breakdown.
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and maintenance checklists.
- Maintain breakdown reports, maintenance records and spare-part consumption records.
- Coordinate with the Production Department to minimize machine downtime.
- Maintain critical spare parts and inform the concerned person about replacement requirements.
- Assist in maintaining compressors, pumps and other mechanical utility equipment.
- Follow 5S, safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
- Ensure maintenance work is carried out safely and with minimum production interruption.
- Perform other maintenance-related duties assigned by the Maintenance/Plant Head.
Required Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance.
- Experience in a manufacturing, engineering or automobile industry will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience with CNC & VMC machines is highly preferred/required.
Required Skills
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Good knowledge of CNC/VMC machine mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of bearings, gearboxes, belts, pumps, lubrication systems, etc.
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings/manuals.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle machine breakdowns independently.
- Good coordination with Production and other departments.
- Knowledge of 5S and industrial safety practices.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Candidates who have hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in CNC/VMC-based manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
