About the Role
App Innovation Technologies is looking for a motivated and analytical Business Analyst – Fresher to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, an interest in understanding business processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into clear and actionable requirements for technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows.
- Gather requirements from clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD).
- Convert business requirements into clear functional requirements and user stories.
- Create process flows, workflow diagrams, use cases, and basic wireframes when required.
- Work closely with developers, QA/testing teams, project managers, and stakeholders.
- Identify business problems, gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist in requirement analysis, documentation, validation, and change management.
- Participate in client discussions, requirement-gathering meetings, and project meetings.
- Support the QA team by reviewing test scenarios and test cases against business requirements.
- Perform basic data analysis and reporting using Excel or similar tools.
- Track requirements and ensure proper communication between business and technical teams.
- Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist in resolving requirement-related issues.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Business Analysis concepts and SDLC.
- Knowledge of Requirement Gathering & Requirement Analysis.
- Understanding of BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel – formulas, sorting, filtering, Pivot Tables, and basic data analysis.
- Basic understanding of SQL and databases is an advantage.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or similar project management tools is an advantage.
- Good documentation and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- MBA / PGDM in Business Analytics, Finance, Marketing, Operations, or related fields will be an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates with relevant academic projects, internships, or certifications are encouraged to apply.
