Job Summary
We are looking for a confident, service-oriented, and experienced Restaurant Captain in our Multicuisine Fine Dining Restaurant to lead the front-of-house team and ensure guests receive an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant floor.
- Lead and guide the service team to maintain high standards of guest service.
- Welcome and assist guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Take and oversee food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and timely service.
- Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service operations.
- Train, motivate, and support service staff.
- Monitor table turnover, cleanliness, and overall restaurant presentation.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and company service standards.
- Assist with billing and payment processes when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Captain or Senior Steward in a restaurant, hotel, or fine dining establishment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of food, beverages, and restaurant service standards.
- Positive attitude and customer-focused approach.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
