Production Planning
- Plan daily moulding activities as per production schedule
- Ensure mould availability for pouring schedule
- Coordinate with production, melting, and core shop teams:
- Hand moulding
- Machine moulding
- CO₂ / No-bake moulding
- Ensure correct mould dimensions and quality
- Verify proper mould assembly and closing
3. Sand Control & Monitoring
- Monitor moulding sand properties:
- Moisture
- Permeability
- Green strength
- Compactability
- Coordinate sand testing with laboratory/QC team
- Ensure proper sand reclamation and reuse
4. Gating & Risering Verification
- Ensure correct gating and riser placement
- Verify venting provision in moulds
- Check chills, sleeves, filters, and inserts placement
5. Core Coordination
- Ensure proper core setting and alignment
- Verify core condition before assembly
- Prevent core shifting and mismatch issues
6. Quality Control
- Inspect moulds before pouring
- Prevent mould-related defects:
- Blow holes
- Sand drop
- Mismatch
- Cuts & washes
- Reduce rejection through process control
7. Manpower Handling
- Allocate work to moulders and helpers
- Monitor shift productivity
- Train workers on proper moulding practices
- Maintain discipline and work efficiency
8. Material & Tool Management
- Ensure availability of:
- Sand
- Bentonite
- CO₂ gas
- Tools and equipment
- Monitor mould box and pattern condition
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
