We're looking for a Video Editor in Content to help grow our pop culture-focused Facebook and Instagram pages. If you're passionate about movies, TV shows, celebrities, internet culture, memes, and trending entertainment news and know how to turn them into engaging short-form videos, we'd love to hear from you.
Your role will involve tracking the latest entertainment news, celebrity updates, viral moments, and social media trends, then creating engaging video content for Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and other short-form platforms on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Research trending entertainment and pop culture topics.
- Create engaging short-form videos (Reels and Shorts) daily.
- Edit clips, add captions, transitions, music, and effects.
- Write compelling hooks and on-screen text.
- Source relevant visuals, clips, and images while following copyright guidelines.
- Stay updated with viral editing styles and social media trends.
- Collaborate with the team on content ideas and formats.
Requirements
- Strong interest in pop culture, entertainment, movies, TV shows, anime, gaming, or celebrity news.
- Experience creating short-form video content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, or TikTok.
- Proficiency in video editing apps such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Premiere Rush, DaVinci Resolve, VN Editor, or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics, text animations, transitions, sound effects, and background music.
- Ability to write engaging captions and hooks.
- Understanding of social media trends and audience engagement.
- A portfolio or samples of previously created video content are preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
