Job Summary
The Official Car Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, punctual, and professional transportation services to company officials, employees, visitors, and authorized personnel. The driver will maintain the assigned company vehicle in good operating condition and ensure compliance with all applicable traffic and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Official Transportation
- Drive company vehicles safely for official duties, meetings, site visits, airport transfers, and other authorized travel.
- Transport senior management, employees, clients, and visitors as instructed by authorized personnel.
- Ensure timely arrival and departure according to the assigned schedule.
- Follow the approved travel routes and instructions of the reporting officer.
- Vehicle Maintenance
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean, neat, and presentable at all times.
- Conduct daily checks of fuel, engine oil, coolant, tyres, brakes, lights, battery, and other essential components.
- Report any mechanical problems, damage, accidents, or unusual vehicle conditions immediately.
- Coordinate with the Administration/Transport team for servicing, repairs, insurance, pollution certification, and other vehicle-related requirements.
- Maintain proper records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, servicing, repairs, and official trips.
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow all applicable traffic laws, road safety rules, and company policies.
- Maintain a safe and responsible driving standard at all times.
- Ensure that passengers use seat belts and follow applicable safety requirements.
- Avoid speeding, reckless driving, unauthorized use of the vehicle, and any activity that may compromise passenger safety.
- Immediately report accidents, traffic violations, or other incidents to the concerned authority.
- Professional Conduct
- Maintain confidentiality regarding company officials, visitors, travel plans, business discussions, and other information encountered during official duties.
- Maintain a polite, courteous, and professional attitude with employees, management, clients, and visitors.
- Maintain punctuality, discipline, personal hygiene, and appropriate professional appearance.
- Handle company property and documents entrusted for transportation with care.
- Administrative Support
- Assist with collection and delivery of official documents, parcels, materials, and other authorized items when required.
- Maintain accurate trip sheets/logbooks and submit them as required.
- Assist the Administration Department with other vehicle-related duties and official errands.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Valid driving licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
- Minimum 1–5 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate/office environment.
- Good knowledge of local roads, routes, traffic rules, and alternative routes.
- Good driving record with a strong focus on safety.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Punctual, disciplined, trustworthy, and responsible.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work flexible hours when required for official duties.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience as a Company Driver, Executive Driver, Office Driver, or Personal Driver.
- Experience driving senior management or corporate officials will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with GPS/navigation applications and basic vehicle documentation.
Working Conditions
- The position may require travel within and outside the city.
- May require early morning, late evening, weekend, or holiday duty depending on official requirements.
- The driver must remain available during assigned working hours and follow the company's vehicle-use and duty-roster procedures.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,496.00 per month
