�� About This Opportunity
We are building an in-house ERP platform from scratch — starting with CRM and HRMS modules — and we need a
Technical Architect/Lead to own it end to end. This is a rare opportunity to design an entire platform architecture from
a blank canvas, lead a small focused team, and see your decisions run in production across multiple business-critical
modules.
You will be the anchor of the engineering team — the person who makes the technical calls, keeps the developers on
track, and makes sure what gets built today doesn’t need to be rebuilt tomorrow.
�� What You’ll Do
- Design and own the shared platform layer: authentication, role-based access control, master data model, API
gateway, notification service, reporting framework — built once, used across every ERP module
- Choose the technology stack and set coding standards, branching strategy, and deployment practices for the team
- Lead daily stand-ups, plan two-week sprints, and keep 3 developers productive and unblocked
- Mentor junior developers — assign tasks at the right level, review code, and grow their skills
- Set up CI/CD pipeline, staging and production environments, monitoring and backups in the first 4 weeks
- Design database schemas and API contracts for CRM and HRMS modules
- Deliver a weekly written status update to the IT Head — covering progress, risks, and decisions needed
- Own go-live readiness for each module — you sign off before anything goes to production

✅ What We’re Looking For
- 8–12 years of software development experience with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role
- Proven experience designing multi-module, platform-style backend systems — not just single-app development
- Strong in relational database design (PostgreSQL or MySQL) — schema design, indexing, query optimisation
- Backend proficiency in Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET (any one strong stack)
- Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and cloud hosting (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Has directly led or mentored junior developers with accountability for their output
- Clear written communication — can write a status report a non-engineer can understand
- Experience with REST API design and implementation
⭐ Good to Have
- Prior exposure to CRM, HRMS, or ERP system design
- Experience with role-based access control (RBAC) implementation
- Familiarity with enterprise UI component libraries (Ant Design, Material UI, shadcn/ui)
- Experience in a non-IT-core company (healthcare, wellness, D2C, manufacturing)
