Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Import Manager to manage and streamline the company’s
import operations. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end import activities
including documentation, customs clearance, regulatory compliance, and coordination with
vendors, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete import cycle from order placement to final delivery.
- Handle import documentation such as Bill of Entry, Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, and
other regulatory paperwork.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import policies, and international trade
laws.
- Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely customs clearance to avoid demurrage
and delays.
- Track import costs including freight, duty, and other charges and identify opportunities
for cost optimization.
- Maintain strong relationships with international vendors and logistics partners.
- Manage and guide the import operations team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Resolve shipment issues such as documentation discrepancies, delays, or customs
queries.
- Prepare reports on import performance, costs, and shipment status.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in import operations or international logistics.
- Strong knowledge of import procedures, customs regulations, and documentation.
- Experience in working with freight forwarders and customs clearing agents.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and logistics software.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
