Job Overview
We are a growing textile manufacturing and apparel export house based in Tiruppur. We are seeking a creative and highly skilled Senior Graphic Designer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to lead our design initiatives. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between creative artistry and technical textile production, transforming concepts into market-ready apparel designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Creation: Develop innovative artwork, chest prints, all-over prints (AOP), typography, and graphics for diverse apparel ranges (menswear, womenswear, and kids/infants wear).
- Production-Ready Tech Packs: Prepare accurate, production-ready vector artworks, color separations, and tech specs for screen printing, digital printing, and embroidery teams.
- Trend Forecasting: Research global fashion trends, color palettes, and graphics to create mood boards and seasonal collections that align with buyer requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sampling, merchandising, and production teams to ensure design feasibility, correct sizing/placement, and print accuracy on different fabric bases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of core graphic design experience, specifically within the textile, garment export, or domestic apparel industry.
- Software Expertise:
- Expert-level command of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop (essential for high-quality vectors and complex raster manipulation).
- Strong working knowledge of CorelDRAW (highly required for handling local manufacturing layouts and traditional print files).
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of textile fabrics, garment construction, and printing techniques (e.g., rotary, digital, high-density, pigment, discharge, and plastisol printing).
- Eye for Detail: Strong grasp of color theory, typography, scaling, and repeat pattern creation (seamless patterns).
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
