We are looking for a highly driven Head of Organic Marketing to lead our organic growth across Search, AI Search, Content Marketing, Technical SEO, Digital PR, and Community Growth. You will own the complete organic growth strategy and build scalable systems that generate millions of qualified visitors while establishing Kingdom of Chess as the world's most trusted chess education brand.
This role is ideal for someone who loves solving growth challenges, experimenting with new SEO strategies, and staying ahead of Google's and AI search engine updates.
Key ResponsibilitiesOrganic Growth Strategy
- Own and execute the company's global organic marketing strategy.
- Build a long-term roadmap for sustainable organic growth.
- Identify new growth opportunities across international markets.
SEO
- Lead Technical SEO implementation.
- Build topical authority across chess, parenting, education, and child development.
- Drive international SEO for multiple countries.
- Improve Core Web Vitals and overall website performance.
- Conduct regular SEO audits and competitor analysis.
AI Search & Answer Engine Optimization
- Optimize content for AI-powered search platforms.
- Develop strategies for AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity visibility.
- Improve structured data and entity optimization.
Content Marketing
- Build and manage a high-performing content engine.
- Develop topic clusters and content calendars.
- Collaborate with writers and subject matter experts.
- Ensure all content demonstrates Experience, Expertise, Authority, and Trustworthiness (E-E-A-T).
Digital PR & Authority Building
- Acquire high-authority backlinks.
- Build relationships with media publications.
- Increase brand mentions across trusted websites.
Analytics & Performance
- Track rankings, traffic, leads, and revenue.
- Build dashboards for business reporting.
- Identify growth bottlenecks and execute improvement plans.
Team Leadership
- Manage SEO specialists, content writers, and outreach teams.
- Build processes, SOPs, and growth frameworks.
- Mentor team members and create a culture of experimentation.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience in SEO and organic marketing.
- Proven record of scaling organic traffic and business revenue.
- Strong understanding of Technical SEO.
- Experience with international SEO.
- Deep knowledge of Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- Experience with AI-powered search optimization.
- Excellent analytical and leadership skills.
- Ability to work with developers, designers, and content teams.
Good to Have
- Experience in EdTech, SaaS, or consumer internet companies.
- Knowledge of programmatic SEO.
- Experience managing large-scale content operations.
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, or automation tools.
