Construction Work Supervisor – Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities at the site.
- Monitor workers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time.
- Ensure quality standards and project specifications are followed.
- Maintain site discipline, safety, and cleanliness.
- Track daily progress and report updates to management.
- Coordinate material requirements and monitor material usage.
- Check attendance and manage workforce allocation.
- Identify and resolve site-related issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in project planning and execution to meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in construction site supervision.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
- Ability to manage labour teams effectively.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read basic construction drawings is preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI/Civil Engineering background preferred.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or hotel construction projects is an advantage.
