What Will You Do?
Installation & Commissioning
Install, configure, and commission control systems (HT panel, LT panel, Motors, VFD, Power Transformer, PLC/DCS, Instrumentation)
Perform on-site verification of installation, interconnection, testing and validation of systems as per engineering documents.
Ensure systems are installed as per design specifications and safety standards
Troubleshooting & Maintenance
Diagnose and resolve issues in Electrical, Instrument & control equipment
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities
Analyses faults and implement permanent solutions to avoid recurrence
Field Service Support
Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers
Attend emergency breakdown calls and ensure minimum downtime
Coordinate with internal engineering and service teams for complex issues
System Optimization & Upgrades
Recommend and implement system improvements and upgrades
Optimize system performance, reliability, and efficiency
Support retrofit and modernization projects
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare service reports, inspection reports, and technical documentation
Maintain records of system modifications and maintenance history
Provide feedback to engineering teams for continuous improvement
Project Planning & Execution
Prepare detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines
Ensure execution of projects as per scope, technical specifications, and contractual requirements
Monitor project progress and take corrective actions to meet deadlines
Customer Interaction
Act as the primary technical point of contact at the site
Provide training and guidance to customer personnel
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and professional conduct
Compliance & Safety
Adhere to company safety guidelines and site regulations
Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry practices
Follow permit-to-work systems and risk assessments
Your Experience Should Be…
Strong knowledge of Motor, VFD, HT/LT panel & PLC (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.), DCS, SCADA systems, online condition monitoring
Understanding of industrial automation, instrumentation, and control logic
Ability to read P&ID, wiring diagrams, and control schematics
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Good communication and customer-handling ability
Willingness to travel extensively and work in field environments
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Instrumentation / Electrical Engineering
Experience
Typically 5–8 years of experience in control systems, field service, or industrial automation
Experience in industries such as power, oil & gas, steel, cement, or manufacturing preferred
