Job Summary
We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment and machinery. The candidate should be capable of identifying mechanical issues and ensuring optimum machine performance with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC machines, VMCs, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in production machinery and equipment.
- Maintain and service bearings, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and mechanical assemblies.
- Carry out machine alignment, lubrication, and calibration activities.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to reduce downtime.
- Ensure proper upkeep of utilities and plant equipment.
- Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and spare parts consumption records.
- Coordinate with production teams for planned maintenance activities.
- Support installation, shifting, and commissioning of machinery.
- Follow safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
Qualifications
- ITI Fitter / Mechanic / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing industry.
- Experience in CNC/VMC machine maintenance is preferred.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and machine manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
Salary
As per company standards and experience.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
