Role description
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Fluent Commerce to design and build scalable, event-driven commerce solutions. The role involves developing high-performance backend services, integrating APIs, and working with modern CI/CD and containerized environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and customize solutions using Fluent Commerce
Build scalable backend services using Kotlin and Java with Spring or Micronaut
Design and integrate RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
Implement event-driven integrations using Kafka
Build, deploy, and manage applications using Docker
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable commerce solutions
Ensure code quality, performance, security, and scalability through best practices
Mandatory Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Fluent Commerce
Proficiency in Kotlin and Java
Experience with Spring Framework or Micronaut
Solid experience with RESTful APIs / GraphQL
Hands-on experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures
Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitLab)
Strong working knowledge of Docker and containerization
