ABOUT COVE & LANE
Cove & Lane is building the future of premium bleisure workwear for women and
men. Every piece is fabric-first, designed for those who move seamlessly between
boardrooms and beyond without compromise. We're benchmarked against Aritzia and
positioned in the premium segment with a focus on quality, storytelling, and
commerce.
THE ROLE
You'll be the designer who bridges aesthetic vision and commercial impact. You'll
own visual storytelling across all touchpoints—from moodboards and brand systems
to product detail pages, social media, performance campaigns, and in-house shoots.
This is a high-impact role where your work directly drives conversions and shapes
how customers perceive Cove & Lane.
Core Responsibilities
Design Direction
Develop and maintain Cove & Lane's visual identity across print, digital, and packaging.
Create moodboards and design direction for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and brand
initiatives. Build and evolve our design system for consistency and scalability.
Product & Commerce
Design product detail pages (PDPs), category pages, lookbooks, and product lifestyle
imagery that converts. Create carousel assets, lifestyle mockups, and campaign-driven
designs. Collaborate with product and merchandising teams to ensure visual alignment with
our premium positioning.
Social & Performance Marketing
Design and art-direct Instagram content calendars, Reels, Stories, and Carousels. Create
performance ad creatives for Instagram, Meta, and Pinterest with a data-driven approach.
Adapt trending formats to our brand voice while maintaining cohesion. Brief copywriters and
videographers on visual direction.
Production & In-House Shoots
Develop shot lists and mood boards. Understand fabric properties, garment construction, and
product benefits for authentic storytelling.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
● Visual identity across print, digital, and packaging
● Moodboards and design direction for seasonal campaigns and product launches
● Product detail pages (PDPs), category pages, and e-commerce assets
● Social media content calendars, Reels, Carousels, and Stories with trend adaptation
● Performance ad creatives with data-driven iteration (Instagram, Meta, Pinterest)
● In-house shoot briefs, styling, direction, and asset capture
● Design file organization, version control, and handoff to development partners
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience
● 1-3 years in design- agency/ product-side (fashion, beauty, or premium e-commerce preferred)
● Portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals: layout, typography, color, and composition
● Proven track record managing design across multiple formats: print, digital, social, and performance
campaigns
Skills
● Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
● Comfortable with design-to-execution tools: Figma, project management software, file organization
systems
● Basic video/motion editing experience (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is a plus
● Strong eye for fashion/product styling and garment presentation
● Nift/ fashion background preferred

● Data-aware: you understand that designs drive conversions, not just impressions
● Direct communicator; comfortable with fast iteration and constructive feedback
● Self-starter who can manage competing priorities, tight deadlines, and ambiguity
