Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified US CPA to manage accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, audits, and advisory services for US-based clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of US GAAP, financial analysis, taxation, and regulatory compliance while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
· Manage general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.
· Prepare and review US Federal and State tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1120, 1120-S, and 1065.
· Prepare and file payroll tax returns and related forms, including Forms 941, 940, W-2, W-3, and 1099 series.
· Manage sales and use tax compliance, including state sales tax returns, nexus reviews, and multi-state tax filings.
· Conduct tax research and provide tax planning and advisory support to ensure compliance and optimize tax positions.
· Coordinate internal and external audits and prepare supporting schedules and documentation.
· Perform financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis.
· Review and oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, and fixed asset accounting activities.
· Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
· Support regulatory filings and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
· Provide financial and business advisory support to management for strategic planning and decision-making.
· Stay updated on changes in US GAAP, IRS regulations, and tax laws to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
· Active US CPA License.
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience in accounting, taxation, audit, or financial reporting.
· Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IRS regulations, and US tax compliance.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
· Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, Sage Intacct, Oracle, or similar platforms.
· Experience working with US-based clients; public accounting or Big 4 experience preferred.
· Knowledge of SOX compliance, internal controls, and risk management.
· Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
