As our agency successfully scales past a volume of 130+ active client accounts and expands our global, fully remote freelance delivery team, we require a sharp Freelance Legal Consultant to bulletproof our contracts and protect our business interests.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced corporate lawyer or legal consultant who understands the specific legal architectures of scaling digital agencies. Operating completely remotely, you will act as our on-demand legal counsel. Your primary focus will be drafting airtight client agreements that prevent scope creep, managing compliance for our remote international team, and ensuring our lead-generation funnels adhere strictly to global data privacy laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract & SLA Drafting: Draft, review, and refine airtight Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) tailored specifically for high-ticket B2B services and custom web application builds.
- Freelancer Compliance: Create and audit compliant, cross-border independent contractor agreements for our 100% remote global workforce, ensuring we are fully protected from misclassification risks across multiple jurisdictions.
- Data Privacy & Lead Gen Compliance: Provide ongoing guidance on data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, DPDP Act) concerning the high volume of user data generated and routed through our real estate and B2B lead generation funnels.
- Intellectual Property Protection: Advise on IP rights and ownership regarding the custom code, regional portals, and branding assets developed by our agency for our clients.
- Dispute Resolution Advisory: Serve as the primary legal consultant for navigating any potential client disputes, breach of contract claims, or early termination negotiations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Professional Certification: Qualified Legal Counsel with active credentials (specialization in corporate, tech, or digital media law highly preferred).
- Agency/Tech Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience specifically drafting contracts for digital marketing agencies, SaaS companies, or remote-first tech firms.
- B2B Nuance: Deep understanding of the specific liabilities, warranties, and indemnification clauses required in high-ticket real estate and industrial supply sectors.
- Remote Competency: Highly responsive and capable of operating asynchronously in a 100% remote environment.
Pay: ₹1,000.00 - ₹5,000.00 per hour
