Key Responsibilities
Report to and support the Pro Vice-Chancellor in developing and implementing sustainability strategies
Lead university-wide sustainability initiatives aligned with global standards and best practices
Oversee ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting and compliance
Drive sustainability research, education, and campus operations initiatives
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance sustainability goals *Promote awareness and embed sustainability practices across the university Qualifications
Master’s or PhD in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field
8+ years of experience in sustainability leadership or ESG roles
Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks, policies, and reporting standards
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Other Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to work closely with and report to the Pro Vice-Chancellor
Strong leadership, organisational, and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Strategic mindset with the ability to drive institutional impact
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines
