Novation India is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the organization's financial records and ensure compliance with statutory and company policies. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and experience in handling GST, TDS, payroll, invoicing, banking, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Prepare and record journal entries, vouchers, and ledger accounts.
- Generate customer invoices and vendor bills.
- Process payments and maintain accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank accounts, cash books, and ledgers on a regular basis.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, EPF, ESIC, and other statutory compliance.
- File GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory returns within prescribed timelines.
- Prepare payroll and ensure timely salary processing.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate with clients for payment collection.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and cost analysis.
- Coordinate with auditors, Chartered Accountants, banks, and government authorities during audits and inspections.
- Verify expense claims and maintain proper supporting documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial information.
- Support management with MIS reports and financial analysis for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- M.Com, MBA (Finance), or CA Inter will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply for junior-level positions.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Management.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, Busy Accounting Software, or other ERP systems.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Sheets.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, EPF, and ESIC compliance.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Preferred Experience
Candidates having experience in service industries, facility management, government contracts, manpower outsourcing, or authorized service center operations will be preferred.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
