Job description
We are looking for a skilled and passionate North Indian Commi to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing authentic North Indian dishes, maintaining food quality, and following hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook North Indian dishes as per standard recipes.
Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
Prepare ingredients and maintain proper mise en place.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
Minimize food wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
Work efficiently during busy service hours and support the kitchen team.
Requirements
Minimum 1–2years of experience as a Commi or similar role in a North Indian kitchen.
Good knowledge of North Indian curries, gravies, breads, biryanis, and tandoor basics.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Hotel Management qualification or relevant culinary training is preferred.
