- Develop short-term, medium-term and long-term technology strategy aligned to business goals (product growth, cross‑sell, operational efficiency, customer experience).
- Own the Target State Architecture: cloud‑smart, API‑first, microservices/event‑driven, zero‑trust security, and data‑centric design.
- Chair or co‑chair technology governance forums: Architecture Review Board, IT Strategy Committee inputs, and Change Advisory Board alignmen.
- Products & Delivery, Infrastructure and Operations Management
- Data, Analytics & AI
- Cybersecurity, Privacy & Resilience (with CISO)
- KPIS / SUCCESS METRICS
- Business: Faster time‑to‑market, digital acquisition & activation growth, improved NPS/CSAT, increased straight‑through processing.
TOOLS, PRACTICES & STANDARDS (INDICATIVE)
- Cloud & Infra: AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes/containers, SD‑WAN, IaC (Terraform), SRE/observability (APM, logs, metrics, traces).
- Integration & App: API gateways, event streaming (Kafka/Kinesis), microservices, low‑code for select use cases.
- Data & AI: Lakehouse/Warehouse, ETL/ELT, governance/catalog/lineage, model ops, feature stores (as applicable).
- Security: Zero‑trust, IAM/PAM/SSO/OIDC, EDR/XDR, SIEM/SOAR, DLP, encryption/HSM, secrets mgmt.
- Quality & Delivery: CI/CD, automated testing (unit/API/UI/sec/perf), blue‑green/canary deploys, feature flags.
- Compliance: ISO 27001/22301 practices, RBI/NBFC IT & Cyber frameworks, DPDP privacy controls.
- Resilience/Security: Fewer critical incidents; patch/VAPT SLAs met; audit observations closed on time; DR drill success.
- Technology Health: ≥99.9% uptime for Tier‑1 systems; MTTR down; tech debt reduced; modernization milestones met.
- Data & AI: Lift in model‑driven approvals at controlled risk; improved collections efficiency; real‑time analytics adoption.
