Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Draftsman with 8+ years of experience in architectural drafting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, coordinating with architects and engineers, and ensuring all designs comply with industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, and construction documents.
- Interpret design concepts from architects and translate them into precise technical drawings.
- Revise and update drawings based on client feedback, site conditions, and design changes.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to ensure design accuracy and integration.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
- Conduct site visits when required to verify measurements and design implementation.
- Assist in preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings.
- Mentor junior draftsmen and review their work for accuracy and quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or other BIM tools is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
- Familiarity with local building codes and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering tools.
- Exposure to BIM workflows.
- Basic understanding of structural and MEP drawings.
Work Environment:
- Office-based with occasional site visits.
- Collaborative team environment involving architects, designers, and engineers.
Experience Level:
- 5+ years in architectural drafting or a similar role.
Pay: ₹40,310.05 - ₹85,053.13 per month
