Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Executive – HR Payroll to manage payroll operations and support HR processes for a fast-paced Stock Broking firm. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing, statutory compliance, and employee data management. Experience in the financial services, stock broking, or BFSI sector will be an added advantage.
Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Management
- Process monthly payroll accurately and within defined timelines.
- Manage employee salary structures, incentives, reimbursements, deductions, and full & final settlements.
- Verify attendance, leave records, overtime, and variable pay inputs before payroll processing.
- Generate salary slips and payroll-related reports.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely compliance with PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, and TDS regulations.
- Coordinate with finance and statutory consultants for payroll-related filings and audits.
- Maintain payroll records and supporting documents as per statutory requirements.
HR Operations
- Maintain and update employee master data in HRMS/payroll software.
- Handle employee queries related to salary, taxation, deductions, and benefits.
- Support onboarding, documentation, and employee record management.
- Prepare HR MIS reports and payroll analytics for management review.
Tax & Audit Support
- Assist employees with investment declarations and tax-related documentation.
- Support payroll audits and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Reconcile payroll data with finance and accounts teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in payroll processing and HR operations.
- Knowledge of payroll software and HRMS systems.
- Good understanding of statutory compliances, labour laws, PF, ESIC, PT, and Income Tax provisions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications.
